"I handcraft my jewellery, with love and care, in my little studio, in Kent, the 'Garden of England'.  I work with Art Clay Silver, which is reclaimed pure silver.  I have a personal passion for silver jewellery and love to try and create unusual and inspiring pieces of jewellery. My creative force comes from nature and organic forms."

“For as long as I can remember, I have been looking at the ground. I love rocks and anything that comes from the ground, so much so that I studied Geology, Paleontology, and Archaeology in college.  I like to take naturally occurring materials and turn them into wearable art for people to enjoy. I design jewelry that is practical to wear, complements clothing but doesn't overpower it, and brings happiness to the wearer.”

“I've always had a love affair with jewelry since a child, and I am living out the dream of creating and designing one of a kind designer pieces.  I try to fulfill every color and texture that enters my mind from my travels around the world.  I realize that from the earth to the sky, the possibilities are endless, and live on forever in the expression that some of my jewelry displays.”

"My passions are beads , and more recently silversmithing, which I

inherited from my  talented father. I don't think that I have a particular style but I love using artisan lampwork and semiprecious stones, making beaded beads and beaded ropes, and working with silver and copper to create out-of-the ordinary jewellery for all occasions.  I create my pieces with care, thought, and passion, as I want them to be treasured for a lifetime.  I am an advocate for buying handmade and strongly oppose mass-produced goods.  I buy fair trade supplies when I can and I endeavour to reduce my own carbon footprint through reuse and recycling. I am very happy to undertake commissions."

There is room on this beaded path for many! 'Life is a train of moods like a string of beads; and as we pass through them they prove to be many colored lenses, which paint the world their own hue, and each shows us only what lies in its own focus. – Ralph Waldo Emerson ~ American Poet 1803-1882

Jeanette Blix

"There's nothing I enjoy more (besides spending time with my family) than working in my studio with my tools and raw coils of sterling silver wire creating jewelry.  Many of my design inspirations come from handmade glass beads crafted by lampwork artisans, which I often use in my wirework. I love the combination of creating jewelry with sterling silver wire and lampwork beads. When you wear such a piece, I truly feel you are adorning yourself with art jewelry."
